Job Description Job Description Senior Safety Manager Senior Safety Manager Position Overview The Senior Safety Manager is responsible for leading and managing safety initiatives across construction sites, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and fostering a culture of safety within the organization. This role involves developing safety programs, conducting training, and collaborating with project teams to minimize risks and promote a safe working environment. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive safety programs and policies in compliance with OSHA and other regulatory requirements. Conduct regular safety inspections and audits on construction sites to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards. Lead incident investigations and develop corrective action plans to prevent future occurrences. Provide safety training and education to employees, including First Aid and CPR training. Collaborate with project managers to assess safety risks and implement mitigation strategies for ongoing projects. Maintain safety records and documentation, preparing reports for management and regulatory agencies. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in safety regulations to ensure continuous improvement in safety protocols. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Safety Management, Environmental Health, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in safety management, preferably in the construction industry. Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards. Certification in First Aid and CPR, along with OSHA 500 certification. Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively manage safety initiatives and training programs. Proven ability to analyze safety data and implement effective safety solutions.
