73120 Full-Time, Days, 7am-3:30pm Responsibilities The OHH
Engineering Specialist performs all work with accord to the
mission, vision, and values of the Oklahoma Heart Hospital. Under
general supervision performs skilled work relating to the
maintenance of all Oklahoma Heart Hospital buildings, properties
systems and plant equipment as assigned. Performs proactive
maintenance, safety and operational testing and documentation of
all designated systems and equipment as assigned. Primary Duties:
Perform daily visual inspections of assigned equipment. Perform
repairs to all responsible equipment and systems as instructed.
Keep appropriate inventory of parts and supplies to expedite
equipment and system repairs. Ensure all responsible areas are
organized, clean and free of abnormal hazards. Communicates with
customers in a timely manner regarding the status of all
maintenance and repairs performed. Perfoms "call" or "callback"
duty on a rotational basis, responding immediately to all requests
with a successful resolution of the problem. Coordinates and
schedules all work/preventive maintenance performed in physical
plant. Monitors water treatment chemical inventory and orders as
needed. Monitors medical gas inventory and orders as needed.
Monitors and maintains fire alarm panel. Monitors and maintains
fire pump. Performs preventive maintenance procedures on
equipment/systems as assigned. Verifies that equipment/systems have
completed data sheet with service/operator manuals and is properly
filed. Ensures that all property/equipment/systems have a
preventive maintenance procedure written and on file. Ensures that
all equipment /systems have an operation and service manual, if
available, on file in the equipment library. Documents all
preventive maintenance procedures as required by the departmental
PM/WO system policy. Trains and educates sufficiently so as to
maintain or establish proficiency utilizing service
schools/seminars provided by manufacturers/trades/vendors, internal
resources, etc. Qualifications Experience: Minimum three (3) to
five (5) years related trade/discipline experience. Hospital
maintenance experience preferred. Education: High school diploma or
equivalent required. Associate's degree or equivalent from college
or technical school preferred. Licensure/Certification: City of
Oklahoma City Boiler Operator license required (Class 1).
Mechanical Journeyman license with the State of Oklahoma required.
Apprentice licensure with the following two (2) registries
required: Plumbing/Electrical with the State of Oklahoma. Every
