Job Description Shop Floor Production Technician ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: /n - Be able to read, write and understand the English language /n - Demonstrates a cooperative relationship to interface between mechanics and test cell operators. /n - Capability of making a decision from general knowledge and training. /n - Performs other tasks, as required. /n - Maintain/demonstrates proper use and care of assigned tools and equipment. /n - Performs whatever documentation is required, per work scope specification. /n - Familiar with inspection tools/gauges/micrometers as well as geometric tolerance /n /n Other Job Functions Adheres to Kratos's Code of Conduct and Business Ethic Standards. Be able to operate torque wrenches and operate safety wire pliers is a plus WORK ENVIROMENT / PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Shop Floor environment / shared workbench or workstation Ability to work in a hot environment. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to tolerate constant noise (machine motors - large fans) While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand or sit for long periods of time The employee is occasionally required to walk, reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: Ability to maintain sensitive and confidential information as required by company and government standards Ability to interact effectively with peers and supervisors Ability to interact appropriately with the public when necessary Working knowledge and/or skill in word processing, spread sheets and other computer applications including Outlook. Ability to adhere to workplace rules. Good work ethics, willingness to work required overtime. Some experience required, on the job training will be performed. Tools required for position.
