Job Description:
Description SUMMARY: Responsible for assisting the Cage & Club
manager in ensuring that all accounting activities in the Cage &
Club Department are performed accurately and efficiently, in
accordance with all Casino Policy, Procedures and applicable
Tribal, State and Federal regulations pertaining to cash
transactions and cage functions throughout the property.
Responsible for supervising all Cage & Club functions on assigned
shift. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Duties include, but are
not limited to: Access funds and ensures prompt distribution to
appropriate areas of property. Assists Cage and Club Manager with
the development and implementation of departmental policies and
procedures, which enable the Cage & Club Department to function
more effectively. Maintains adequate staffing levels in the Cage &
Club Department, by training, scheduling, evaluating, assisting
with career development, disciplining employees, as needed. Ensures
the integrity of all financial and customer data produced by
employees under his/her span of control. Monitors all financial and
data activities on property, which relate to Cage& Club, to ensure
that all Casino Policy, Procedures and applicable Tribal, State and
Federal regulations pertaining to cash transactions and cage
functions are enforced throughout the property Assists with the
coordination of audits relating to bank boards, guest deposits and
rotation logs. Assists the Cage & Club employees in understanding
the complexities of certain responsibilities within the department.
Ensures a maximum level of property-wide service and satisfaction,
with respect to the Cage & Club Department, is achieved and
maintained. Facilitates the flow of information throughout the
property, by organizing and presiding over regularly scheduled
meetings with all employees under his/her span of control. Held
accountable, to a high degree, for the accuracy and thoroughness of
departmental records and reports. Performs other duties as

do things, in advance of doing them. Qualifications QUALIFICATION
REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must
be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The

essential functions. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: High school
diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Some college
courses in banking and finance or related area preferred. SPECIAL
QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of one (1) year experience in Casino credit
operations or related area required. Must possess excellent
communication, organizational, and analytical skills. Must be
extremely numbers-oriented. Must be able to master the casino’s
slot accounting and player tracking system. LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret basic instructions
furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to respond to
common inquiries or complaints from guests. Ability to effectively
present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide
in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and
decimals. REASONING ABILITY: Ability to define problems, collect
data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to
interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions. PHYSICAL
DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of
those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the

employee is regularly required is talk or hear. The employee is
also regularly required to stand, walk, sit, and use hands to

climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee
is regularly required to stand, for long periods of time, at the
Cage/Club counter. Specific vision abilities required by this job
include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral
vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. WORK
ENVIRONMENT: The work environment characteristics described here

employee is regularly exposed to risk of radiation (from
computers), as a great deal of the workday is spent working on
spreadsheets or inputting data into the computer system. The noise
level in the work environment is moderate. A casino environment is
typically smoky. CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT: The Iowa Tribe of
Oklahoma operates a drug-free workplace. The selected individual
must submit to and pass applicable drug test. Additionally, the
selected individual must be bondable and able to pass a background
check in order to obtain a gaming license.
