Job Description Job Description FOOD AND BEVERAGE ASSISTANT LEAD Automation Personnel Services is looking for a several seasonal Food and Beverage Assistant Lead for the daily railroad company based in Chattanooga, TN. This non-profit organization offers several daily trips exploring the Chattanooga area. This is a temporary job with several permanent opportunities. Pay Rate $15.00-$20.00 per hour based on experience Schedule and Hours Full time (weekends are a must) Food and Beverage Assistant Lead Duties and Responsibilities Assist in overseeing daily food and beverage operations Support the Lead/Manager in staff coordination, scheduling, and shift coverage Ensure high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and organization in all service areas Help with inventory control, including stocking, tracking usage, and reporting shortages Assist with food prep, plating, and service as needed Greet and serve guests with professionalism and hospitality Handle customer questions or concerns promptly and courteously Ensure health and safety policies are consistently followed Train or guide new team members on procedures and expectations Monitor presentation and quality of all food and drinks leaving the kitchen Communicate with kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth operations Assist in cash handling or POS operations when needed Food and Beverage Assistant Lead Qualifications and Requirements High school diploma or equivalent (GED) Previous experience in food & beverage, hospitality, or customer service (leadership experience preferred but not required) Work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays if needed Basic math and communication skills Reliable transportation and consistent attendance Stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 Must meet all local health and safety requirements (e.g., Food Handler’s Permit or ability to obtain one) Job Type Full-time, temporary to hire Benefits • Weekly Pay • Medical, dental, vision, short-term disability, and life insurance • 40 Hours Service Bonus after 1 year of continuous service and 1500 hours • 6 paid Holidays after 1 year of continuous service and 1500 hours 401(k) Retirement Plan Automation Personnel Services is the only staffing agency specializing in manufacturing and industrial roles that offers 401K matching to all eligible contingent and temporary associates.
