Job Description Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess an in-depth knowledge of spirits, wines, beers and cocktails, and be able to craft exceptional beverages for our discerning clientele. This role requires a strong emphasis on guest satisfaction, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, upscale environment. Responsibilities ? Prepare and serve a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and consistency. ? Possess an extensive knowledge of spirits, wines, beer and cocktails, including classic and contemporary creations. ? Provide expert recommendations based on guests' preferences and food pairings. ? Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring all equipment and glassware is spotless. ? Manage inventory and place orders for liquor, beer, wine, and other bar supplies. ? Adhere to all liquor laws and regulations, including age verification and responsible serving. ? Provide exceptional customer service, building rapport with guests and anticipating their needs. ? Contribute to the overall ambiance of the restaurant by maintaining a professional and polished appearance. ? Collaborate with the bar and restaurant teams to ensure seamless service. Qualifications ? Minimum of 2 - 3 years of bartending experience in an upscale restaurant or upscale bar. ? Extensive knowledge of spirits, wines, beer and cocktail preparation techniques. ? Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. ? Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a fast-paced environment. ? Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. ? Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights. ? Must be of legal drinking age and able to pass a background check. Preferred Qualifications ? Formal bartending education or certification. ? Experience with point-of-sale systems. ? Knowledge of wine pairings and food and beverage service.
