Registered Nurse (RN) | Operating Room Location: Stillwater, OK Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,466 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/30/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified OR RN in Stillwater, Oklahoma, 74074! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8.5 Experience: Minimum of 2 years circulating experience License: State license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: - Minimum of 2 years circulating experience required - No first-time travelers - Medical or religious exemptions for COVID-19 vaccine required - Medical exemptions for flu vaccine required Description: This position involves working in the operating room. The shift is scheduled from 06:30 to 15:00. There may be late days until 19:00 on rotation, approximately 1-2 times per week. Call coverage currently exists, but it may become a requirement in the future. Candidates should have experience with the following surgical procedures: Lobe resection, lung resection, thoracotomy, appendectomy, cholecystectomy, colon resection, and hernia repair (inguinal/umbilical). Experience in laparoscopic-assisted procedures, thyroidectomy (partial/total), arthroscopy, closed reduction of fractures, laminectomy/discectomy, open reduction of fractures, ortho/spine, spinal fusion, total joint replacement, cystoscopy, nephrectomy, prostatectomy, and transurethral resection of the prostate is also required. Knowledge of fire safety, cell saver, administration of blood and blood products, infection control, laser safety, radiation safety, specimen handling/labeling, universal protocol (time out) procedure, and wound management is necessary. The facility handles a daily census of 20-25 cases with a total of 6 operating rooms. Interdisciplinary support will be available.
