ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab for a travel nursing job in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - Cardiac Cath Lab Job Details: • Provide nursing care to patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex • Requires 2 recent years of cardiac catheterization lab experience • Stepdown/PCU experience required • Travel experience at Level 1 preferred • Work with STEMI, Shock, VAD, ECMO, and Structural Heart procedures • Operate Phillips equipment and new Siemens imaging equipment being added in March • Use Epic documentation system and Xper hemosystem • Assume responsibility for assigned group of patients • Document patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments • Assist physicians in patient examinations and minor diagnostic procedures • Obtain and monitor physiological data, observe patient manifestations and intervene when necessary • Administer medications as prescribed and monitor intravenous infusions and blood products • Interact with families and patients regarding care plans and discharge instructions • Delegate tasks to support staff as needed • Current Oklahoma RN License or multistate compact RN License (eNLC) required • Current BLS and ACLS certifications from American Heart Association required • Associate's Degree in Nursing from accredited program required • Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred Facility: This major academic medical center serves as the flagship teaching hospital and provides comprehensive cardiovascular services including advanced cardiac catheterization procedures.
