Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/16/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - FS Job Details: • Provide nursing care to patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex under general supervision • Must have MS/SD experience with ICU experience preferred • Assume responsibility for an assigned group of patients • Document patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments • Assist physicians in examination of patients and performing minor diagnostic procedures and treatment • Obtain and monitor physiological data of patients and intervene when necessary • Administer medications as prescribed and monitor intravenous infusions and blood products • Interact with family and patients regarding care plans during hospitalization and at discharge • Make referrals regarding patient care needs to appropriate personnel • Delegate tasks to support staff • Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required • Associate's Degree in Nursing from accredited program required (Bachelor's preferred) • Current RN License issued by Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or multistate compact RN License (eNLC) required • Current Basic Life Support certification from American Heart Association required • Strong verbal and written communication skills required • Computer skills and ability to respond to cultural and language needs of patients Facility: This major academic medical center serves as a premier healthcare institution and teaching hospital, providing comprehensive medical services and advanced patient care.
