Job Description:
Gifted Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and skilled Travel
Orthopedic Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in Oklahoma City,
Oklahoma. As part of our healthcare staffing team, you will have
the opportunity to work in dynamic environments and impact patient
care directly. This position requires managing the care of patients
experiencing musculoskeletal issues like fractures and diseases
affecting bones and muscles, under the supervision of doctors and
in collaboration with other healthcare professionals. The ideal
candidate is passionate about nursing, adaptable to new
environments, and committed to providing high-quality care. Assess,
plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for orthopedic patients.
Prepare patients for, and assist with, examinations and treatments.
Maintain accurate patient records and charts. Administer
medications as prescribed and monitor for side-effects. Educate
patients and their families on disease processes, medical-surgical
procedures, and other aspects of therapeutic regimens. Collaborate
with a multi-disciplinary team to facilitate integrated and
comprehensive care. Strong clinical skills in orthopedic nursing
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficient in
using healthcare software and systems Ability to work effectively
in a fast-paced environment Medical Insurance Dental Insurance
Vision Insurance Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state
of Oklahoma. BLS Certification required. Orthopedic Nursing
Certification (ONC) preferred.
