Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/23/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - ICU Neuro Job Details: • Work three 12-hour night shifts per week • Must have Level 1 neuro experience • Provide nursing care to patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex neurological conditions • Assume responsibility for assigned group of patients in neurological intensive care unit • Document patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments • Monitor physiological data and intervene when necessary • Administer medications and manage intravenous infusions and blood products • Assist physicians in examinations and minor diagnostic procedures • Interact with families regarding care plans and hospital procedures • Delegate tasks to support staff and coordinate with other healthcare team members • 1 year of nursing experience required • Associate's Degree in Nursing from accredited program required • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred • Required certifications: Current Oklahoma RN License or multistate compact RN License (eNLC), Basic Life Support (AHA), ACLS (AHA) • Strong verbal and written communication skills required • Computer skills and ability to respond to cultural and language needs of patients Facility: This major academic medical center provides comprehensive healthcare services and serves as a leading teaching hospital.
