Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Interventional Radiology Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 03/02/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: /n Clinical Professional - Interventional Technologist /n/n Job Details: /n • Provide advanced procedural and radiologic support to physicians in a sterile environment /n• Assist in pre and post procedural patient care with cross-training to scrub on all procedures /n• Systematically collect, assess, and document data in collaboration with multidisciplinary team /n• Document chronological events of procedures and medical care in Epic system /n• Assist in image management and processing while troubleshooting equipment problems /n• Provide patient care during non-cardiac procedures including mechanical thrombectomies, angioplasty, stent placements, biopsies, line placements, thrombolysis, embolizations, coils, drainage catheters, and IVC filters /n• Monitor patient's level of moderate sedation during procedures /n• Operate specialized equipment including rotational angiography with 3-D reconstruction, ultrasound guidance, contrast injectors, and detachable coils /n• Maintain clean and well-stocked work environment with daily equipment checks /n• Rotate on-call responsibilities as assigned /n• Train new personnel and act as mentor /n• Required certifications: ARRT (Registered Radiology Technologist) and BLS through American Heart Association /n• Required education: Completion of accredited Radiologic Technology Program /n• Minimum 6 months of related experience required, 1 year preferred /n• Must be capable of wearing lead aprons for extended periods /n• Epic experience and Level 1 Trauma experience preferred /n/n Facility: /n This healthcare facility operates as a comprehensive medical center providing advanced interventional radiology services.
