Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: OR - Operating Room - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel /n Job Description/n American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN Perioperative Circulator for an adult surgery operating room position that requires Level 1 OR experience and a compact or OK RN license. /n /n Responsibilities/n - Work in the Adult Surgery operating room of an acute care hospital - Adult surgical patient population, perioperative circulator role - Day shifts, 6am-5pm, four 10-hour shifts per week - On-call and holiday shifts are required - Position requires floating as needed - Responsible for planning, coordinating, delivering, and evaluating nursing care for surgical patients during operative and invasive procedures - Accountable for ongoing documentation and evaluation of all components of care delivered in the perioperative environment - Expected to provide individualized patient care based on health status, age, and surgical procedure - Collaborative team environment with other perioperative professionals - Compliance with holiday scheduling and on-call requirements is mandatory - Minimum separation of six months required for returning travelers after completing 26 weeks at this health system /n /n Requirements/n - Active RN license from Oklahoma or a multistate compact (eNLC) - Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association required - Minimum of one year experience in an acute operating room environment - At least six months of Level 1 trauma center OR experience required - Associate's degree in Nursing from an accredited program required - Excellent knowledge of AORN standards and professional nursing techniques - Strong verbal and written communication skills - No local candidates within a 50-mile radius /n Benefits/n - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts /n American Traveler Job ID P-664634.
