CT Tech Location: Tulsa, OK Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,330 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/16/2026 About the Position Job Title: CT Technologist Profession: Clinical Professional Specialty: CT Imaging Duration: 13 weeks Shift: W/T/F e/o S 7p-7a Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Zero (0) to six (6) months of related experience License: Registration from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-R) Certifications: BLS Must-Have: - Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program - Knowledge of anatomy and physiology - Ability to organize and prioritize work in an effective and efficient manner Description: Operates computed tomography (CT) equipment to process cross-sectional images of the patient's body for diagnostic purposes. Performs diagnostic CT examinations according to the department's policies and protocols. Screens, prepares, and positions patients for CT procedures with reference to diagnoses and body parts. Knowledgeable of all CT equipment including the laser camera. Evaluates CT studies for quality and completeness. Utilizes advanced image manipulations such as 3D rendering, reformation, and reconstruction. Understands image display and filming options. Recognizes and rectifies CT imaging and filming problems. Sends images to the PACS system, evaluates exams for completeness, and verifies exams in a timely manner. Develops a working knowledge of all PACS capabilities. Maintains accurate documentation on logbook worksheet and charging of examinations and all supplies. Appropriately administers contrast media as directed by the Radiologist. Maintains radiation safety for patients, staff, and family members of patients. Responds to patient physical and psychological needs. Keeps patients informed and explains all procedures in a clear and concise manner without causing unnecessary anxiety. Listens to and answers patient questions with patience and courtesy. Seeks advice from the appropriate resource when unsure of protocol or policy. Maintains a clean and appropriately supplied work area. Makes independent judgments in planning the sequence of operations and decisions in a complex technical field. Works directly with patients and/or customers. Interacts with internal customers via telephone or face-to-face communication. Engages with external customers via telephone or face-to-face communication.
