Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/02/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - ICU Neuro Job Details: • Provide nursing care to patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex under general supervision • Assume responsibility for an assigned group of patients in the intensive care unit • Document patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments • Assist physicians in patient examinations and minor diagnostic procedures • Obtain and monitor physiological data, observe patient manifestations, and intervene when necessary • Administer medications as prescribed and manage intravenous infusions and blood products • Interact with families and patients regarding care plans during hospitalization and discharge • Make referrals for patient care needs and delegate tasks to support staff • 1 year of nursing experience required • Required certifications: Current Oklahoma RN License or multistate compact RN License (eNLC), Basic Life Support (AHA), ACLS (AHA) • NIHSS certification preferred • Associate's Degree in Nursing from accredited program required • Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred • Strong verbal and written communication skills required • Computer skills and ability to respond to cultural and language needs of patients Facility: This premier academic medical center serves as a leading healthcare institution providing comprehensive medical services and specialized care.
