Overview: The Charge RN MedSurg (Nights) plays a vital role in
assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care in
line with established professional standards. This position
requires the coordination of patient care, safeguarding patient
rights and confidentiality, and supervising the quality of care
delivered by other healthcare providers. Applicants should have a
minimum of three years of bedside nursing experience, possess a
valid RN license, and hold ACLS and BLS certifications or be
prepared to obtain them shortly after starting. Discover your
purpose with us! The Charge Registered Nurse will apply theoretical
principles to guide decision-making in practice, ensuring the
assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing
care aligns with nursing practice standards. Position Highlights:
Sign-On Bonus Available for Experienced RNs $15,000 for Experienced
RNs (No Contract Required) This role involves utilizing the nursing
process to deliver patient care while maintaining professional
accountability for the care of assigned patients. The Charge RN
will assess the overall effectiveness of care provided by other
direct caregivers and coordinate patient care in collaboration with
various departments. Upholding patient rights and ensuring the
confidentiality of patient information is essential.
Responsibilities must be carried out in alignment with our mission,
values, and service standards. Our facility is a 25-bed hospital
dedicated to serving Carthage and its neighboring communities.
Qualifications: Experience: At least 3 years of bedside nursing
experience. Education: Must have graduated from an accredited
nursing program (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN). Licensure:
Responsible for obtaining and maintaining a current RN license in
the state of employment, including meeting all state board of
nursing requirements. Certifications: Must possess an American
Heart Association Healthcare Provider card or complete a course
during the probationary period. ACLS and BLS certifications are
