License Required Certifications: BLS, NRP, Fetal Heart Monitoring
Must-Have: - BLS, NRP, and Fetal Heart Monitoring are required.
Description: Unit specifics require BLS, NRP, and Fetal Heart
Monitoring for Labor & Delivery and Obstetrics. The facility can
cancel one shift every other week. An Obstetrics nurse is needed,
handling 15-17 births per month. The nurse will work in Labor &
Delivery as well as in Mother Baby, Newborn Nursery, and Couplet
Care. They will also care for Gynecology surgery patients. Floating
to Med/Surg may occur if no patients are available. If not
comfortable with Med/Surg patients, the nurse will assist with
vital signs, medication administration, and other duties as needed.
BLS, NRP, and Fetal Monitoring are required. The facility can
cancel one shift every other week.
