Job Description Healthcare Support is seeking a travel Pharmacist for a travel job in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Pharmacist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 14 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours - Employment Type: Travel Pharmacist /n /nHealthCare Support is actively seeking a Pharmacist to fill an opening in Tulsa, Oklahoma. /n /nDaily Responsibilities for Pharmacist:/n /n/t - Fills prescription items, as permitted by the State Board of Pharmacy, packaging medications for dispensing and for delivery, meeting the accuracy and productivity standards of the pharmacy/n/t - Labels products appropriately, including cautionary or auxiliary labels/n/t - Participates in the periodic inventory of the pharmacy/n/t - May check in drugs and supplies, stock shelves and remove out-of-date items from the inventory/n/t - Prepares medications including emulsions, liquids, powders and ointments, which may include non-sterile compounding/n/t - Communicates with internal and external customers in a pleasant and professional manner/n/t - May process returned medications from the facility for credit or destruction/n/t - Assists in the training of new employees/n/t - Also performs at least one of the following:/n/t /n/t /n/t/n/t - Works in the Controlled Drugs (Narcotics) Room;/n/t - Works with automated machine to prepack drugs;/n/t - Manages inventory functions such as monitoring pharmaceutical levels and identify expired medications, managing to the pharmacy standard for Days on Hand;/n/t - Inputs patient data and medication orders into a computer system to produce labels (data entry);/n/t - Mixes/packages IV medications, sanitizes IV room, equipment and hood/n/t - Services facility-based medication dispensing machines (e.g., RxNow)/n/t - Performs other tasks as assigned/n /n/n /n/t - variable, primarily 3pm to midnights including weekends/n /n /n/n /n/t - Required Qualifications for Pharmacist:/n/n/t /n/t /n/t/n/t - Required: High School diploma or equivalent./n/t - Experience in a pharmacy setting and with medical terminology./n/t - Licenses/Certifications: As required by state regulations.
