Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Vascular Interventional Technician - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours - Employment Type: Travel Work Experience: Under immediate to general supervision and direction of a mentor/preceptor, this entry-level position works to achieve the initial competencies required to deliver specialized cardiovascular and/or radiologic technology services to adult and/or pediatric patient populations for the purpose of aiding medical staff in the diagnosis, care, treatment and surveillance of simple to complex conditions, defects and/or diseases. Education: Associate’s degree or higher. License: One of the below certifications is required: ARDMS - Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS). ARDMS -Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT). ARRT - Vascular Interventional Radiography ARRT - Cardiac Interventional Radiography. ARRT – Radiography. CCI - Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer (RCCS). CCI - Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS). CCI - Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS). CCI - Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS). Certifications: Current Basic Life Support issued by the American Heart Association required upon hire.
