Infusion Pharmacist Highlights • The pay for this position is $61.00-$68.00 per hour (based on experience; shift differentials apply – see below). • Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM, with potential overtime. • Must be flexible for alternating on-call weekends and weekdays. • Onsite position in Tulsa, OK. • This position is a contract-to-hire opportunity. Responsibilities • Accept and dispense prescription medications in compliance with all legal and safety standards. • Monitor medication compliance, usage patterns, and patient safety. • Ensure medications prescribed are clinically appropriate and legally compliant. • Accurately maintain confidential patient records and pharmacy files. • Educate patients on proper medication usage, possible reactions, and answer related questions. • Consult on prescription and non-prescription medications, including storage, side effects, and drug interactions. • Provide patient care services such as smoking cessation, blood pressure monitoring, and cholesterol management. • Instruct patients on using medical devices such as glucose meters and BP monitors. • Compound medications and prepare sterile solutions following safety protocols. • Supervise pharmacy staff, including technicians and clerks. • Maintain appropriate inventory levels of pharmaceuticals and medical supplies. • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Requirements • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree required. • Active Oklahoma Pharmacist License in good standing. • Infusion pharmacy experience is preferred but not required. • Must be flexible and reliable for rotating on-call shifts.
