Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: CT Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Job Title: CT Technologist II /nDepartment: N/A /nStandard shift: Days /nWeekly schedule: THUR/FRI/SAT 10A-10P /nSchedule Notes: 3X12 /nWeekend Requirements: Part of shift/Holiday coverage required /nOn Call Requirements: None/n/n /n/n /n/nDescription: /nMaintains the competencies required to perform essential duties and responsibilities of a Level I position. /nPrepares patients for procedures and correlates clinical history with procedures ordered by physicians to be performed. /nCommunicates and collaborates with patients, families, and other members of the multidisciplinary care team to identify and implement the actions necessary to achieve the clinical outcomes, operational goals and service expectations desired./n/n /n/nQualifications:/n/nEducation: /nGraduate of a CAAHEP accredited educational program with emphasis in a primary cardiovascular specialty OR Graduate of a JRCERT accredited educational program with emphasis in a radiologic technology specialty. /nAssociate’s degree or higher - Preferred./n/n /n/nCertification Requirements: /nCT credentials required by the hiring department must be current upon hire or advancement. /nAHA BLS./n/n /n/nExperience: /nApplying principles of cardiovascular and/or radiologic technology, medical imaging, medical terminology, positioning of patients, and medical ethics. /nMust be able to work as part of a team and follow instructions; must be able to consistently and dependably report to work as scheduled.
