• Employment Type: TravelJob Description:The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Emergency Department (ED) provides direct patient care in a fast-paced, high-acuity setting. They assess, triage, and treat patients experiencing urgent and life-threatening conditions. The RN collaborates with physicians and healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality, compassionate care while adhering to hospital policies and regulatory standards. -Responsibilities:
  • Assumes responsibility for an assigned group of patients.
  • Documents patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments; notes all changes in physician orders.
  • Assists physicians in the examination of patients and in performing minor diagnostic procedures and treatments.
  • Obtains and monitors physiological data of patients, observes physiological manifestations, and intervenes when necessary.
  • Administers medications as prescribed, including initiating, regulating, and monitoring intravenous infusions and blood products
  • Delivers patient care competently in an emergency setting.
