Overview: $5,000 Sign-On Bonus Included. Responsibilities: Works closely and receives supervision from Clinical Nutrition Supervisor and Department Director to enhance clinical nutrition care at NRHS. Registered Dietitian providing inpatient care. Establishes,implements and evaluates nutrition care plans for patients. Works closely with Healthcare team to provide high quality nutrition care. Preceptor for clinical interns and students. Liason between clinical nutrition team and other disciplines and providers. Provides training to the clincial team and other departments. NRHSS Qualifications: Education Any program approved by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics that leads to the registration as a Registered Dietitian/Registered Dietitian-Nutritionist (RD/RDN). Basic knowledge of subspecialty area (inclucing nutrition support,diabetes, cardiology, renal, oncology) Must obtain approximately 15 hours of continuing education credis per calendar year. Keep current of new findings/research. Experience Knowledge for use of different formula's when assessing patient's nutritional needs. Completion of general and patient care orientation is required prior to providing patient care. Six months of clinical experience in an acute care facility is preferred. Licensure/Certifications Registration with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and an Oklahoma State license. Much achieve registration within the first 6 months of eligibility or hire date. Must obtain a food handler's permit from Cleveland County Health department before hire (or within one week of hire). Compensation/Benefits $5,000 Sign-On Bonus Included $23.57 - 37.37/hr based on experience
