Position Purpose: This position develops and implements enterprise-wide DEI programs that support the goals and strategies of Centene's Diversity Strategy through the local plan DEI Council and Chapter Employee Inclusion Groups (EIGs) and supports health equity functions at the health plan.

Provides overall support and resources to enable DEI Council Leadership including Chapter EIG leadership to effectively and efficiently engage their group members and the broader organization. Enables the continued evolution of the DEI Council and EIGs to enhance impact to group members and the organization as well as optimize related processes and structure.
Proactively managing engagement and programmatic efforts, both internally and externally within assigned communities, providers and members to help influence and drive meaningful local-level decisions and programming, reduce disparities and improve access to social services.
Creates and implements a comprehensive, outcomes-based Health Equity Plan programs that is aligned with CLAS standards and national and regional priorities/initiatives. The plan also incorporates data-driven assessments of culturally competent performance, including HEDIS and cost disparity performance and defines a strategy for the continual provision, monitoring and improvement of outcomes.

Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Business, related field or equivalent experience. 3+ years of project management. Passionate about diversity, equity & inclusion (DEI), employee development and engagement. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in writing, speaking and presenting information; experience drafting and delivering executive-level presentations and communications. Exceptional project/program management skills and the ability to structure and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and drive to completion in a fast-paced environment. Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence without positional authority. Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships, influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization, across functions and across cultural dimensions
