Design and Analysis Engineer (Electronic Sys Design & Analy)
Company: The Boeing Company The C-17 Development Hardware team is
currently looking for a Design and Analysis Engineer to join their
team in Oklahoma City, OK . This organization supports Boeing’s
C-17 Program, the world's premier military airlift capability. At
Boeing BGS, we are looking for an experienced Mission Computer
Subsystem and Hardware Design Engineer . This position will include
support for the entire product lifecycle, including requirements
analysis, systems design, lab design/specification, integration
testing, flight test, technical sub-contractor management, field
support and customer interactions. In this role, you will develop
and document moderately complex electronic and electrical system
requirements. This will include designing hardware, software, and
interface specifications, as well as testing and validating to
ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements.
Additionally, you will assist in monitoring supplier performance to
ensure system integration and compliance with requirements. You
will solve problems concerning fielded hardware and software over
the entire product lifecycle, and lastly, research specific
technology advances potential application to company business
needs. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected
candidate will be required to work onsite at the Oklahoma City, OK
facility. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): 3
years of experience with Hardware and LRU development, test and
qualification Knowledgeable in subsystem design, requirement
allocation and technical supplier management Critical analysis and
problem-solving skills across systems, hardware and software
architecture Practical experience with lab equipment for hardware
development, troubleshooting and data capture Preferred
Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Military aircraft
program experience MIL-STD-1553B, ARINC-429 and Ethernet
architecture and knowledge Experience with Agile development
methodologies Strong leadership, team building and mentoring skills
This position requires the ability to obtain an active U.S.
Security Clearance. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance
Post-Start is required. Typical Education and Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical
education from an accredited course of study in engineering,
engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering
technology), computer science, engineering data science,
mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2
or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination
of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent
qualifications. In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred,
although not required, accreditation standard. Shift: This position
