performance — we invite you to apply. Responsibilities Design and
analyze structural systems including steel, concrete, masonry, and
wood for aviation, education, civic, tribal, commercial, and
federal facilities. Develop calculations, drawings, specifications,
reports, and construction documents that align with project goals.
Perform load calculations, seismic and wind analysis, and
material-specific design. Apply building codes, IBC, ASCE 7, AISC,
and ACI standards to ensure functional, compliant solutions.
Participate in client meetings, design reviews, and team
coordination efforts. Collaborate with architects, engineers,
consultants, and internal teams to deliver integrated outcomes.
Support QA/QC efforts and construction administration activities,
including submittal reviews, RFIs, and site visits. Lead structural
scopes, oversee deliverables, and mentor junior staff (mid- and
senior-level roles). Soft Skills Strong communication and
collaboration skills across disciplines and with clients. Critical
thinking and creativity in solving complex design challenges. Time
management and adaptability in a fast-paced, multi-project
environment. Mentorship mindset, with a willingness to guide and
support junior team members. Clear, professional writing and verbal
communication skills. Initiative in identifying solutions and
improving workflow efficiencies. Qualifications Mid-Level:
Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Civil, Structural or Architectural
Engineering, FE exam passed and actively pursuing PE licensure, 5
years of progressive experience, demonstrated ability to lead
design efforts and coordinate small to mid-scale projects Senior
Engineer: Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Civil, Structural or
Architectural Engineering, active PE license, 10 years of
progressive experience leading structural design for large-scale or
complex projects. Proficiency in Revit; knowledge of structural
analysis software such as RISA-3D, RISA Floor, RISA Foundation, or
Adapt is a plus. Strong understanding of building systems,
documentation standards, and interdisciplinary coordination.
Experience in sectors such as aviation, civic, commercial, tribal,
mission critical, or federal work is highly valued. At FSB
