Job Description:
ACCOUNTING CLERK $55k-$65k Temp to Hire Position Join a
thriving, family-owned business experiencing rapid growth, with an
office of 26 employees and projections to double in size in the
coming year. The company has a rich history and is transitioning
leadership to the next generation, creating an exciting time of
change and opportunity. Position Overview: We are seeking a
detail-oriented Accounting Clerk with strong QuickBooks expertise
(desktop version, not cloud-based) to manage essential accounting
functions, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable
(AR), and some Human Resources duties. This role is pivotal in
supporting the company’s financial operations and ensuring smooth
transitions during a period of substantial growth. Key
Responsibilities: Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable:
Maintain accurate records and ensure timely processing of invoices,
payments, and receivables. Bookkeeping: Input and maintain
financial data in QuickBooks (desktop version). Fixed Asset
Purchases: Track and manage the acquisition of fixed assets.
Receivables Management: Oversee customer accounts, ensuring timely
collections and accurate reporting. HR Support: Assist with
administrative HR tasks as needed (does not include payroll).
Collaborate closely with the leadership team and employees during
the company’s growth transition. Qualifications: Strong proficiency
in QuickBooks desktop version is a must. Solid knowledge of
accounting principles and bookkeeping practices. Previous
experience in AP, AR, and handling receivables. Familiarity with
working in a family-owned business is a plus. Excellent attention
to detail and organizational skills. Ability to adapt and thrive in
a fast-growing, dynamic environment. Strong communication skills to
